My work in progress

These images show the scripts and sprites that I have so far for my game. I have made the sprites myself using paint as there were not enough birds in the scratch folder.

Scratch Challenge 7

This method is very effective in keeping track of the amount of times you click the sprite. This method could also be used in many other situations that are involved with games.

Scrath Challenge 6

my method of making the sprite move according to arrow input is different to the example on the challenge, but I think that my method is much easier, and works in the same way.

Scratch Challenge 4

I believe that this algorithum is very useful to make the sprite appear as though it is flying towards you. There was a slight problem when i clicked stop and then start agan, and the bat would remain large. I corrected this by using the 'set size to 77%' button whenever the flag is clicked.

Scratch Challenge 3

The bat appears to be flying as it switches between costumes and glides across the screen. I asked for help concerning the problem of the sprite turning upside down when it travels left, and now i know how to correct the problem.

Scratch Challenge 1

This formula makes the sprite glide forwards and backwards across the screen, but when it is moving left, it is upside down. I do not know how to correct this.
